Getting started
What is ChordPerfect?
Professional rehearsal audio for choral singers. For each work we record every voice part separately, so you can hear your own line clearly instead of trying to pick it out of a full choir recording.
Do I have to pay to listen?
No. Every voice part streams free, with your part emphasised in the mix. Just browse the works and press play — no sign-up needed.
What does the Pro Player add?
The Pro Player is a rehearsal mixing desk. It leads with Rapid Learn, a practice-ready cut of every movement with the long rests removed so you drill your entries without the waiting, and Continuous Rehearsal Mode, which plays movements straight through, hands free, so you can rehearse while you drive, cook, or commute. You also get separate sliders for your own part, the rest of the choir, and the orchestra; tempo control that slows a passage down without changing the pitch; an A–B loop to repeat one phrase until it sticks; and solo and mute for any part.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. You buy Pro once, for one work and one voice part, and it stays on your account. There is nothing to cancel and nothing recurring.
Can I try Pro before buying?
Yes. On every work we leave one movement — usually the hardest chorus — open in the Pro Player so you can try the sliders, tempo and looping for yourself.
What devices does it work on?
Any modern web browser — phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. There is nothing to install. Headphones are worth using: the balance between your part and the rest of the choir is much easier to hear.
How do I sign in?
There are no passwords. Enter your email address and we send you a one-time sign-in link — click it and you are signed in on that device. You can request a fresh link any time.
I have bought Pro but I cannot see the mixing desk.
You are almost certainly not signed in, or you are signed in with a different email address. Pro access is tied to the email you bought with, so sign in with that address and reload the player.
Moving from the old website
ChordPerfect has moved to a new website with a rebuilt player. A few things work differently.
Do my old login details still work?
No — and you do not need them. The new site has no passwords at all. Enter your email address, and we email you a one-time sign-in link.
What happened to what I bought on the old site?
It still works. If you were given a voucher code, that code redeems here on the Redeem a Voucher page and gives you your download. See the voucher section below. If you cannot find your code, get in touch and we will look up your order.
My old bookmark or link does not work.
Most old addresses forward automatically to the matching page here. If one lands somewhere unexpected, start from the works list and find your work there.
Vouchers and downloads
Vouchers were sold on our previous website. If you or your choir bought one, it is still good — here is how it works.
What does a voucher give me?
A voucher code unlocks a download of the rehearsal audio for one work. You choose your own voice part when you redeem it, and you get a ZIP file of the audio tracks for that part, which is yours to keep and play offline.
How many people can use one code?
Up to 50. A single code can be redeemed by as many as 50 singers, which is how choirs used them — the director shared one code with the whole choir, and each singer redeemed it for their own part. Every redemption uses one of the 50, so once they are gone the code stops working.
How do I redeem a code?
Go to Redeem a Voucher, enter the code, then choose your voice part and give your email address. Your download link appears straight away.
How long do I have to redeem it?
Until 31 December 2026. After that date voucher codes can no longer be redeemed, so if you have one, do use it before then. Anything you have already downloaded is yours to keep.
Are the scrolling score videos included in the download?
No — the download is audio only. The scrolling scores are part of the online player rather than the downloadable files.
Does a voucher give me the Pro Player as well?
No. A voucher gives you the audio download. The Pro Player — the mixing desk with sliders, tempo control and looping — is bought separately, per work and per voice part.
My code will not redeem.
The usual causes are a typo, all 50 redemptions being used up, or the code having expired. Try it again carefully first, then send us the code and we will look it up.
I bought files before but I have lost my code.
Write to us from the email address you ordered with, and tell us the work and your voice part. We can find the order and sort you out.
Can I download the Pro Player audio too?
No — the Pro Player streams rather than downloads. That is what makes the separate sliders, tempo control and looping possible, so you will need an internet connection to use it.
Choir packs
Do you still sell the 50-singer choir pack?
No — we have had to stop selling them. Recording every voice part of a major work separately is expensive, and we simply cannot afford to keep giving the premium product away at that price.
My choir already bought one. Is it still valid?
Yes. Codes already issued still work, for up to 50 singers, until 31 December 2026. Nothing has been taken away from anyone who already paid.
So what can my choir do instead?
The free service is still very good, and it costs your choir nothing. Every voice part streams free, for every singer, with no sign-up — a director can send one link to a whole section and everyone can start learning their notes straight away. Singers who want Rapid Learn, Continuous Rehearsal Mode, the mixing desk, tempo control and looping can add Pro for their own part individually. See ChordPerfect for Choirs.
Feedback and getting in touch
Something is wrong with a recording or the player.
Please tell us — use the contact form. If you can, say which work, which movement and which voice part, and what device and browser you were using. That is usually enough for us to find it.
I have a suggestion, or a work I would like you to record.
We read everything. Send it through. Requests for repertoire genuinely do influence what we record next.
How do I contact you about anything else?
The same contact form. It reaches a person, not a ticket queue.
